Enter The Bush Beat Story Competition
To enter, members are invited to write a short micro-story called "The Bush Beat Story".
In 150 words or fewer, tell a story where life on the land meets the music, atmosphere and spirit of Savannah in the Round.
Whether your story is humorous, heartfelt, reflective or poetic, we're looking for entries that celebrate:
- Rural Queensland life
- Community spirit
- The beauty of the land
- Resilience and character
- The connection between country people and great music
Members must also submit a photograph that represents or complements their story.

Write your "Bush Beat Story" (150 words or less).

Select a photograph that represents your story.
Step 3
Submit your entry via the online form.

Eligibility
- Be a current AgForce member
- Submit no more than one entry
- Provide a story of 150 words or less
- Include a supporting photograph
- Submit your entry before the closing date
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged by the AgForce Judging Committee based on:
- Creativity
- Originality
- Storytelling quality
- Celebration of regional Queensland
- Connection to the competition theme
The judges' decision is final.
