Biosecurity Queensland are hosting a series of Biosecurity Response Readiness Workshops from March to June 2026.
Biosecurity outbreaks disrupt services, operations and community confidence. By attending this workshop you will gain an understanding of:
- How your organisation can prepare for a biosecurity outbreak
- An understanding of national biosecurity arrangements
- How a biosecurity response will be managed
- How biosecurity outbreaks are different to arrangements for other emergencies such as floods and bushfires.
You'll also meet a network of local people who can help you strengthen your biosecurity preparedness.
The workshops for industry are aimed at anyone from industry or business whose role will be affected by a biosecurity outbreak including:
- Industry peak bodies
- Producers, processers and manufacturers
- Large local employers
- Transport, logistics, retail and distribution
- Regional and emerging leaders.
