Heavy to locally intense rainfall has occurred in the state’s Northwest and through to the Coast over the last week, and a severe weather warning is current. The extent of the damage is currently unknown, however AgForce is working closely with the Department of Primary Industries to ensure primary producers are kept safe and updated.
We encourage everyone to keep themselves safe and complete the DPI Disaster impact survey for primary producers. This survey is a voluntary and anonymous survey for primary producers to gain an understanding of how disasters have affected your property, and whether disaster recovery assistance needs to be activated. We have seen strong results and meaningful assistance from Government in times of disaster when surveys and grant applications are completed in the past, and we want to see this continue as weather events persist.
