AgForce has had a number of new staff join our team recently, so we thought we'd introduce them to you!

Perry Langeberg - GIS Mapping Officer & Sales Assistant AgCarE

I’m a born and bred South Australian, so please don’t hold that against me.

Spent my childhood life in Adelaide, until I joined the Military.

Spent 20 years in the Army moving from State to State.

After the Army, I settled in Townsville for 10 years, which incorporated in working with AgForce as part of the AgForward project.

I have two children and 5 grandkids at this stage.

I have now resettled back in Townsville.

It’s great to be back with AgForce and am especially excited to be working as part of the AgCarE team.

I look forward to the new challenges ahead in my new role as the GIS Mapping Officer.

Bhushan Purohit

After relocating to Australia, I quickly fell in love with the country and its people. As a father of two young children, I strive to provide the best life possible for my 6-year-old son and 2-month-old daughter.

With a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Management focused on Accounting, I leveraged my education to build a career as a Senior Bookkeeper and Assistant Accountant for multiple hospitality venues.

When I heard about the opportunity to join AgForce, I was thrilled. I knew AgForce would allow me to expand my experience into a new industry while working for an amazing company alongside incredible  people. I'm excited to apply my skills in accounting and finance to make a positive impact.

Teesh Reid - Central Queensland Regional Manager

It gives me great joy to introduce myself as your new Regional Manager for Central Queensland - you can call me Teesh 😊

Currently living in Gladstone with my husband and our four fur babies, it's nice to be home in Central Queensland after growing up here, Rockhampton and Clermont in my younger years.

I'm very much looking forward to getting out and visiting you all, but for some it might be catching back up if you remember me from IOR!

I have huge love for our beautiful state and I might be biased but believe Central Queensland is its crown jewel.

I'm always just a phone call away, but will promptly arrive on your doorstep if baked goods and a cuppa are involved!

Again, I'm so looking forward to connecting with you all and being at your service as your AgForce Representative.

Lucy Gunther - Community Engagement Officer

My name is Lucy Gunther, and I'm a Community Engagement Officer based in the Toowoomba office. I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Honors in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland.

I originally grew up on a small mixed farming property at The Gums and spent my early years in education at Tara before transitioning to Downlands College for high school as a boarding student in Toowoomba. As a recent school leaver, I am eager, excited and have a passion to promote home grown Aussies in the agricultural industry.

I like travel, sport, cooking and meeting new people. I also enjoy challenges but appreciate the quiet moments too. My goal is to stronghold agriculture in Australia for future generations. To achieve this, I need to continue on a learning journey, to improve, learn from and connect with community and industry.

That is what makes AgForce so exciting - that I can learn, work, develop and inspire with an incredible team of likeminded, yet diverse people from a variety of backgrounds to promote and support the amazing work of people in the agriculture industry. I really appreciate the ability to work in a supportive environment that allows me to follow my passions and develop as a young person in agriculture. I am  always keen for a chat and look forward to my future at AgForce.
