AgForce is urging members to beef up their farm security, following a rise in rural crime.

As well as stolen cars and siphoned fuel, criminals in the Darling Downs region have been targeting copper wiring — with silos and substations across the region stripped bare.

Producers are reminded to stay vigilant.

Please also take note of the following tips to keep your property secure:

  • Solar powered security cameras
