People living in regional and remote areas face a unique set of challenges – fewer services, isolation, and extreme weather events to name a few.
Add to that a ‘toughen up’ culture where it’s not always easy to talk about your problems, and vulnerable individuals can find themselves in need of assistance.
That’s why R U OK? Day has developed a Mateship Manual designed to help those in rural and remote areas support their mates and loved ones doing it tough.
This year, AgForce is supporting R U OK? Day on Thursday 8 September - a national day of action and a reminder that every day is a day to check in with your friends, family and colleagues.
