Michael is a third-generation farmer in Australia with thirty plus years’ experience in agriculture with mixed cropping.

Michael has been involved as an industry representative on numerous agriculture boards including Ausveg and Queensland Crisping Growers.

Recently purchasing a cane farm in the Herbert district, Michael is eager to represent and support members to enhance the cane industry.

Sam Fryer 

Based just outside Hughenden in North Queensland, Sam runs a cattle operation on agistment with his wife Emily and their three kids. Together, theyre chasing the dream of becoming full-time primary producers. Both Sam and Emily are active members of their local community and involved in a range of grassroots groups and initiatives.

Sam is a passionate advocate for the beef industry and regional Australia. He sits on the Northern AgForce Council and plays an active role in several local committees and events. In 2023, he launched A Place to Call Home a podcast that shares the stories of people on their own land ownership and agricultural journey, with a focus on helping the next generation break into the industry. The podcast complements Sams work as Regional Area Manager for the North Westand Gulf region at QRIDA.

Outside of work, Sam is a strong advocate for rural mental health and mens health. He proudly serves as a community ambassador for "Movember" and regularly speaks about his own experiences to encourage open conversations

Kenneth Coleman

Kenneth is a North Queensland cattleman, from a rural family based in the Charters Towers region since the 1860, carrying forward generations of hard work and connection to the land.

Today, he leads the team at Coleman Stock Feeds, helping drive a family business built on quality, reliability, and service to producers across North Australia.

Alongside this role, Kenneth manages the family cattle properties and runs a Brahman Stud operation, focused on building high quality, fertility-based genetics, suited to the region conditions.

Kenneth is committed and passionate about rural life, strongly advocating to strengthen and enhance the agricultural industry in Queensland.
