The Young Member Network
is just that – a network
of young members of
AgForce under 35 years
of age.
It operates as a contact
group. Notices about
social events are by
email or posted on the
AgForce website.
Events may be held in
different regions with a
focus on those regional
members. In South East
region a function is
held in conjunction with
Farmfest; in the Central
region it is the
Sundowner at the AgGrow
field days.
A function is also held
annually at the MEATing
Centre at the Ekka.
The South West region
has held a bursary
competition whereby
Young Members will be
funded to attend a
conference or workshop
that will further their
industry knowledge and
contacts.
From July 2007 we will
consider how we can
better use the
“members-only” website
for contact between
Young Members.
We have links that may
be of interest to
members. We encourage
you to submit any link
that you think is
worthwhile.
It is intended that
members of the Network
will also be profiled on
the new web page, so we
will be looking for
stories to showcase the
variety of interests,
activities and jobs that
you hold.
