How do I become an AgForce member?


As an AgForce member, you and your family benefit from many services and opportunities.

Our membership rewards range from competitive pricing on agricultural products, to great deals with leading agribusinesses, to fleet-rate discount prices on Mitsubishi passenger and light commercial vehicles.

Who can join AgForce?


Anyone with an interest in an eligible farming enterprise can become a member, as well as many others involved in the rural sector. There are several categories of AgForce membership to suit different member requirements:

Full member
The principals of a single, eligible farming enterprise may nominate any person with an interest in that enterprise as the full member.

Annual fees payable by Full Members vary depending on gross value of production calculated on a five-year rolling average. See membership form for full details.

Joint member
Joint membership is available to those who have an interest in eligible farming enterprise represented by the nominated full member. Joint membership is only available to people who are not otherwise eligible for full membership.

Typically, the first joint member might be the spouse or business partner of the nominated full member. Subsequent joint members might be family members such as children, or other business partners of the nominated full member who also have an interest in the business. Full and joint members have equal rights and status as members, including equal voting rights.

The first Joint Member of an eligible farming enterprise is not required to pay any prescribed entrance fee. Subsequent Joint Members will be charged a nominal fee of $67.50 (plus 10%) GST, totalling $74.25.

Support member
A person or business may eligible for membership as a support member if they operate businesses or are individuals with an interest in the industries represented by AgForce.

The membership fee for Support Members is $381.00 (plus 10% GST), totalling $419.10.

Student member
An association of students from a Queensland tertiary institution is eligibe for a membership as a student member and may nominate one representative from the association to vote on matters at a subregional level on behalf of the association.

Student membership fees are charged at $381.00 (plus 10% GST), totalling $419.10.

Young member
Any person between 18 and 30 years of age with an interest in the rural industry and not eligible for membership as full or joint members may become young members.

Young Members are required to pay a membership fee of of $70 (plus 10% GST)
totalling $77.00.

Delivering results
AgForce leads the way in ensuring the issues of rural Queensland are heard at the local, state and national level of industry and government. Find out about the current industry issues as well as our ongoing policy and commodity-specific work for sheep and wool, cattle and grain producers.

AgForce Projects
Rural landholders and primary producers can attend workshops on vegetation management, GPS utilisation, property computer mapping, forestry, the Delbessie Agreement and access technical support staff.

AgForce Buying Service
AgForce provide direct sales of Datamars NLIS tags and specific GIS/GPS support to members. For more information, members can call 1300 361 172 or click here.

News and information
Members can stay up to date on agricultural issues and events and AgForce’s advocacy work through our weekly e-newsletters and magazine Envoy, and receive members alerts on hot issues via email. Email us to stay informed.

Member Benefits and Services

Members can access a range of benefits and services that AgForce have arranged through partnerships with organizations.

These benefits and services include, but are not limited to:

WFI
WFI is one of Australia’s leading rural insurers and offers direct, personal service. Members who choose WFI will receive a discount off their next AgForce membership renewal fee.

Mitsubishi
AgForce members can access fleet-rate discount prices on all passenger and light commercial vehicles, potentially saving thousands of dollars.

BOC Gas
AgForce members can receive discounts on gas and on equipment (excluding bottle hire).

Westpac
The Westpac Agribusiness team is made up of local agribusiness bankers who go the extra mile to understand the issues which affect your operations and ambitions. The team can introduce you to flexible banking and financial solutions to meet your financial goals into the future.

Grain Harvest Management Scheme
The cost of joining the GHMS is partly rebateable off your AgForce membership. This scheme is designed to allow for the vagaries of in-field grain loading, up to 7.5 percent over the gross mass and axle limits.

Motorpass
AgForce Queensland and Motorpass have joined as partners in order to provide you with a special offer that has been developed exclusively to provide the best deal for AgForce Queensland members. 

nib health care
AgForce members can access a discount at nib on the full range of nib’s Your Corporate Health Cover options.
