Field days

Field days

AgForce conducts field days, on property, showcasing Nature Refuges throughout Queensland. These days are of great benefit to those who attend, with speakers presenting on a range of topics relevant to the areas they are held in and the Nature Refuge program.

A nature refuges and multi-topic field day will be held at Richard Underwood Nature Refuge (north of St George) on 20 December, 2012.

The field day will showcase the outstanding achievements of the Richard Underwood Nature Refuge and the Northern Hairy Nosed Wombat project.  Speakers on the day include AgForce, The Queensland Government Nature Refuges branch and Threatened Species branch, as well as other issues specific to the area.

The field day is free, and morning tea and lunch are provided.

RSVP's are essential. Please contact policy and project officer, Tamara Badenoch for further information or to RSVP, email or (07) 3236 3100.
