Chemical Accreditation by correspondence

If you have considerable experience using and applying chemicals in different situations and have been keeping records documenting procedures that you use in chemical use and application, then you may prefer chemical training via a correspondence pathway.

AgForce Training will send you the materials that you need.

The steps involved:
  • complete registration form and send to AgForce
  • you will receive an information pack in the mail
  • read the assessment guide to determine the evidence you need to collect
  • complete additional written questions
  • collect the evidence and send to AgForce
  • your assessor evaluates your evidence / workbook responses
  • the assessor may contact you to discuss your evidence / workbook responses
  • the assessor signs off against the competencies
  • SMARTtrain Chemical Application Accreditation is issued if successful

Course costs

The courses offer producers significant savings. The program covers all chemical application - not just agricultural or veterinary and satisfies the requirements of all QA programs including LPA, CATTLECARE, FRESHCARE and FLOCKCARE and the purchase of chemicals.
