Our members are Queensland cattle producers. AgForce Cattle is the only body in Queensland representing a majority of beef producers in Queensland. A National affiliation is maintained with the Cattle Council of Australia, a member body of the National Farmers Federation. AgForce Cattle works to ensure that the view of Queensland beef producers, as the largest cattle producing state, is heard at state and national levels. AgForce Cattle represents producers in the areas of quality assurance, animal welfare, research, trade and marketing issues. Queensland cattle industry - economic value The gross value of Queensland's cattle industry in 2003-04 was forecast at $2.8 billion. It is Queensland's largest agricultural sector and is the backbone of most rural regional communities in Queensland. Approximately 65% of production is exported thus generating increased returns to the Queensland economy. Queensland is the largest cattle producing state in Australia and has forged an enviable international reputation for producing a safe, healthy and tasty product.
