Flood
assistance
What help is out
there? |
|
Clean up funds
secured
Producers who want to access
grants of between $10,000 and $25,000,
should call
QRAA on
1800 623 946
or visit their
website for more information.
Please ensure you are taking photographic
and other evidence of the impact of the
floods on your business (damaged dam walls,
submerged machinery, fences destroyed) as
some form of evidence will be necessary.
These one off grants are now available so
that producers can get on with the clean up
efforts once the water subsided.

The Australian Tax Office
says residents having problems meeting their
tax obligations because of the floods, or
who have recently received a letter or
notice, should call 13 11 42 to make
arrangements to meet their individual
circumstances. The Tax Office can: fast
track refunds, give extra time to pay debts
